Upgrade Summary:
With hundreds of Stars 2 Pro sold in Europe, we have received a wealth of feedback that inspired the updates in this new version.
While we have refined the design several times over the past few months, we have retained the original four-window layout—a feature highly appreciated by users for its ability to handle Europe's rainy weather by enhancing ventilation and minimising condensation.
We modified the side edges of the flysheet to extend closer to the ground; this reduces airflow at the base and significantly improves the tent's overall stability. The fabric has been upgraded to a high-strength 400T sil-nylon, offering vastly superior tear resistance compared to the previous model, while the 5,000mm waterproof rating provides ample protection for the flysheet.
The pole system has been upgraded from the original DAC NFL 8.5mm poles to a more robust combination of NSL 8.5mm + 9.6mm poles. The two 9.6mm main poles enhance the tent's durability and performance in European weather conditions.
We have also introduced optional accessories: a trekking pole support kit that reinforces the short pole section for greater stability, and a gear hammock that provides additional storage space.
